NK Psychological Services is growing.
We're a psychodynamic group practice in Chicago's South Loop, built around the belief that sustained consultation relationships and theoretical depth produce better clinicians and better outcomes. We're looking for experienced clinicians who want to practice in a community that takes the work, and each other, seriously.
We're hiring across several roles and levels. We believe in building positions around the strengths and interests of the people who fill them, so we're less interested in fitting you into a predefined role than in understanding what you bring and what you want to develop. We're especially looking for experience in psychological assessment, child and family work, clinical training, and supervision.
All of our clinicians work across the lifespan and serve a broadly diverse client base: racially, ethnically, clinically, and generationally. We're looking for people who are comfortable with that range and energized by it.
What we're looking for in all candidates:
A genuine commitment to psychodynamic practice and a desire to keep deepening your theoretical and clinical knowledge
An appreciation for consultation and collaboration, not just as values but as daily practice
A desire to contribute to training and supervision, helping prepare the next generation of psychodynamic clinicians
A preference for being in the room: we're an in-person practice, on site 3-4 days per week
The practice is organized to support clinicians in their work. Administrative support, billing, insurance, and credentialing are all part of the practice's responsibility to patients and clinicians, so you can focus on the clinical work.
We offer a strong insurance panel (BCBS, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare), a thoughtfully designed workspace, and a clinical community that is actively invested in your development and sustainability as a practitioner.
If this sounds like the kind of place you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you. Send your CV and a brief note about what draws you to this work to emily@nkpsych.com.
